Moore & Van Allen Further Expands C-suite, Welcomes Kelly Harbour as Chief Marketing & Business Development Officer

Moore & Van Allen PLLC (MVA) is pleased to announce further expansion of its leadership structure with the addition of Kelly C. Harbour as the firm’s inaugural Chief Marketing & Business Development Officer. 

“Kelly is a respected industry leader who brings a unique legal marketing and business development skill set, with a particular focus on client experience, to the firm,” said MVA Managing Partner and Chair Thomas L. Mitchell. “We are excited to welcome Kelly to this new role and look forward to partnering with her as we respond to evolving client needs.”

Harbour joins MVA from Goulston & Storrs PC, where she guided business development, client service, practice management, and marketing and communications efforts. She has more than two decades of experience in a range of professional services roles directing initiatives involving client acquisition and retention, strategic business planning, business development coaching, and innovation, with a focus on leveraging data and technology to accelerate and improve decision-making.

Harbour is known for drawing upon her multidisciplinary background and collaborative approach to drive innovation in the legal industry. She is a longtime volunteer for the Standards Advancement for the Legal Industry (SALI) Alliance, a not-for-profit, member organization established with the goal of producing a global standard taxonomy for the business and practice of law.

Harbour is a fellow of the College of Law Practice Management and received the Legal Marketing Association Northeast region’s Distinguished Member Award in 2024. She was also the recipient of Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly’s Excellence in Marketing award in 2020.

Harbour earned her M.P.S. in law firm management from George Washington University and B.A. from the University of Miami.

Harbour will add to MVA’s leadership ranks, expanded in recent years to include Chief People Officer Stephanie L. Dixon and Chief Operating Officer Elizabeth J. Satterfield.
