Goldberg Segalla is not what you might expect from a dynamic, internationally acclaimed law firm. We’re different.
Although we are only 18 years old, Team GS is already over 400 lawyers strong. An AmLaw200 firm, our 22-office footprint reaches from Los Angeles to London, with teams based in New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Miami, St. Louis, and other major business and economic centers across 10 states. We can handle virtually any civil practice need, from bet-the-company litigation and multijurisdictional transactions to daily risk-management counseling and regulatory guidance. We do all this on a regional, national, or international scale, as our market-leading clients expect.
But we’re not Big Law — nor do we want to be.
We will continue to grow our footprint, expand our capabilities, and welcome exceptional legal talent as much as our clients’ current and potential needs demand it. But we will never succumb to the cut-throat culture and swollen-rate structure that have plagued the legal world for far too long.
I have been Goldberg Segalla’s managing partner since a small group of us founded this firm on a sawhorse desk and card tables in 2001. Of course I am proud that we’ve grown into one of the nation’s largest law firms. I’m most proud, though, of the way we’ve done it. We have never compromised on our founding principles. We have never accepted or even entertained the idea of a merger, and we have never grown for the sake of growth — and we are the fastest-growing law firm in 2016 without jumping on what it called the “consolidation bandwagon.” And we have always put our clients and our team first, above any individual goals.
We think we are different from the traditional law firm model in every material way. We hope you agree that makes all the difference in the world.
