The American Federation of Teachers recently launched an initiative to “focus on organizing doctors across the country” following National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) election victories by the Doctors Council SEIU. Major new NLRB developments provide fast-track union election and recognition processes that unions will leverage. However, these challenges are navigable with rapid response plans, proactive and positive next-gen engagement, and robust National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) compliance strategies.
