Continuing the FinTech University series, join Richard Levin, chair of Nelson Mullins’ FinTech and Regulation Practice, and Nelson Mullins partners Christopher Eby and Matthew Zischke for “FinTech and Employment Law.” In this one-hour session, they will examine ways that the FinTech industry intersects with employment law and what employers need to know when utilizing FinTech.
Levin leads the firm's FinTech and Regulation Practice. He advises clients on corporate, FinTech, securities, and regulatory issues.
Eby focuses on employment litigation and counseling. He has represented employers before federal and state courts and agencies in a variety of employment matters, including Title VII discrimination and harassment claims, wage and hour class and collective actions, claims brought under the Americans with Disabilities Act and Family and Medical Leave Act, and noncompete and trade secret enforcement.
Zischke advises all types of employers on a variety of benefits matters, including design, implementation, and administration of employee benefit plans such as defined benefit, defined contribution (e.g. 401(k) and 403(b)), equity incentive, deferred compensation, and health and welfare arrangements.
