Please join us on March 21, 2018 for What Every Device Company Should Know About the ITC, the next installment of our monthly series of webinars directed to issues and developments in the law that affect the medical device industry. These free and informative presentations by Covington lawyers will be held once a month at 8 am PT/11 am ET/3 pm GMT. Each webinar will be approximately one hour in length. CLE credit will be offered.
The International Trade Commission provides injunctive relief to a Complainant who successfully proves an unfair act by its adversary, most commonly related to an intellectual property right. Our presenters are experienced in prosecuting and defending actions in the ITC and will discuss the opportunities and potential pitfalls that the forum provides to medical device companies.
The webinar will be led by Maureen Browne and Amy Bond.
- Maureen Browne, an experienced litigator and counselor with a diverse practice, handles complex federal court matters involving commercial law, customs, international trade regulation and torts, as well as Section 337 cases in the International Trade Commission. She has assisted clients across a variety of technologies, including semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and memory.
- Amy Bond is a litigation associate whose practice focuses on Section 337 cases in the International Trade Commission. She has experience representing clients in various aspects of practice before the ITC.
