Part 1: Informed Consent: Putting the New Wisconsin Law Into Practice

Recent court decisions raised serious questions about how physicians could meet their obligations to obtain patients' informed consent for treatment. The Wisconsin legislature considered a new law designed to answer those questions. Ralph will discuss the new law and describe how it should affect the informed consent process.

Part 2: Tuomey, Bradford, Intermountain - Lessons Learned

Lisa's discussion will focus on what can be learned from these providers' mistakes and steps to take to avoid similar outcomes for your organization.
