The Dentistry Examining Board may soon promulgate record retention rules for Wisconsin dentists. According to a statement of scope published by the Board, the Board desires “guidelines… consistent within the industry, recognizing recommendations by professional organizations, other health care providers and other states with regard to record retention.”

The Board did not offer any additional details about the potential rules; however, von Briesen attorneys will monitor the Board’s actions and post updates on the von Briesen health blog.
