Purushotham Kittane is a lawyer and member of the TMT, and IP Practice Group at Nishith Desai Associates based out of Bangalore. He regularly advises domestic and international clients on transactional, advisory and regulatory concerns on technology, media and telecom laws across sectors. He has a particular focus on data protection, cybersecurity, fintech regulations and other technology-focuses practice areas. Purushotham has advised multinational software companies, ecommerce companies, SaaS providers and tech intermediaries on regulatory as well as public policy issues. He has also advised on telecom services, media production and commercial documentation.

Purushotham is an alumnus of National Law University, Lucknow and is licensed to practice in India, being admitted to the Karnataka State Bar Council. He regularly writes thought leadership and research articles on contemporary issues
