Timothy M. McConville

Professional Biography

Tim McConville has years of experience providing labor and employment law counsel to employers ranging from small entities to Fortune 500 companies with thousands of employees. He brings a unique perspective to his management-side labor and employment practice because he understands the viewpoint of the individual employee based on his extensive experience advocating and representing individuals victimized by organized labor while he was a leader at the National Right to Work Committee and the National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation. His clients rely on his ability to help them solve employee relations problems by timely legal analysis, effective investigation, solution-oriented counseling, and strategic litigation defense.

Tim counsels employers on all aspects of employment law including policies, procedures, and practices; hiring, retention, promotion, compensation, discipline, and termination practices; methods for mastering FMLA and ADA requirements; employee issues and disputes; and, for government contractors, legal requirements enforced by the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs. As an investigator, Tim assists clients confronted by sexual and racial harassment allegations, discrimination claims, wage-hour issues, union problems, employee theft, duty of loyalty and ethical breaches, and destruction of property. Tim also provides training seminars on a variety of employment relations topics for his clients as well as for organizations of human resource professionals.
