Tara L. Tedrow is an associate in the firm's Real Estate Transactions, Development and Finance, Commercial Leasing, and Environmental Law practices. She focuses her real estate practice on multi-site, multi-jurisdictional real estate acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and financing and large, multi-site and multi-state real estate transactions. Tara also represents commercial landlords and tenants, borrowers and lenders, including Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), in connection with the purchase of income producing properties, sale of properties by taxable REIT subsidiaries and restructuring of credit facilities.
Prior to joining the firm, Tara has worked as a legal extern for the University of Florida General Counsel and Office of the Vice President as well as for the Orlando Juvenile Public Defenders Office. For six years, Tara has also worked professionally as a private speech and debate coach and taught at multiple national debate institutes, including the National Debate Forum at Emerson University, the National Symposium for Debate at Grinnell College and Victory Briefs Institute at UCLA.
