Scott Kozak is the founder and co-founder of two of the firm's practice groups: Agriculture, Food and Health and Securities Regulation and Litigation. He is also a member of the firm’s Complex Commercial Litigation team. A skilled trial lawyer, he focuses on, securities, products liability, toxic tort, complex commercial and environmental litigation.
Products Liability. Scott has handled a wide range of products liability cases and as a member of the Agriculture, Food and Health group, defends individual, class-action and inter-business claims, including those for false or deceptive labeling and advertising. He has extensive experience with class action and consumer fraud claims, including statutory violation claims involving the Missouri Merchandising Practices Act and Lanham Act. Scott has presented on food, beverage and health labeling and litigation issues at firm’s Annual Products Liability Seminar and co-authored articles for the International Association of Defense Counsel dealing with product recalls.
