Laura is a third year law student at Chicago-Kent College of Law. It was after volunteering as an English as a Second Language ("ESL") teacher during her first year of law school that she discovered her passion for immigration law. She enjoys working with the immigrant community and currently works in Immigrant Legal Services at World Relief. Laura continues to volunteer when not at World Relief, this semester she is volunteering as a Immigrant Child Advocate with the University of Chicago Young Center. Laura graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2010 with a Bachelors of Arts in Economics and Spanish.
