Kevin Schneider practices in the firm’s Financial Restructuring & Bankruptcy and Finance practice groups. His restructuring experience includes the representation of creditors’ committees in Chapter 11 cases and secured lenders in out-of-court restructurings and formal bankruptcy proceedings. He also assists distressed companies on a range of insolvency matters and has represented a Chapter 7 Trustee. Additionally, Kevin’s finance experience includes the representation of banks and investors in connection with distressed real estate transactions involving multiproperty portfolios. Kevin has been selected as a 2014 and 2015 "Rising Star" by Illinois Super Lawyers.
Before joining Neal Gerber Eisenberg, Kevin was a PILI Fellow for Health & Disability Advocates – SSI Homeless Outreach Project in Chicago, Illinois where he drafted pre-hearing statements submitted to Office of Disability Adjudication & Review and analyzed medical information for case development. Kevin also worked as a judicial extern for The Honorable Michael M. Mihm, U.S. District Court Judge for the Central District of Illinois.
