Jordan Mendez is originally from Richmond, Virginia, and is fluent in Spanish.
She studied International Studies at Elon University, during which time she studied abroad in Ecuador, Argentina, and South Africa. After graduating from Elon, she worked as a bilingual case manager for Hispanic community centers. She attended the University of North Carolina School of Law, where she served as a board member of the Immigration Law Association and worked as a certified student practitioner of the Community Development Clinic. She also was a member of the First Amendment Law Review. Her practice at Ogletree Deakins is primarily focused in the area of employment based immigration.
