Jennifer Howard primarily represents business development companies (BDCs) and registered closed-end funds (CEFs) in connection with their efforts to raise capital and launch market operations. Jenn’s background positions her to provide clients with valuable assistance in connection with securities offerings and pragmatic regulatory advice.
Jenn works with clients on a broad range of public and private offerings of equity and debt securities. She also regularly advises clients on corporate governance matters and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting obligations.
Prior to joining Katten, Jenn was an associate in the capital markets and investments practice of a major international law firm, where she focused on regulatory and transactional matters involving BDCs, CEFs and other public and private entities.
