Elena Kaspi, JD, MSW, CMC is a certified, highly trained and experienced Executive Career Coach who specializes in providing Business, Career and Leadership Coaching Programs and Professional Development Workshops to lawyers and AmLaw 100 law firms throughout the United States and abroad.
Elena has dedicated the last ten years of her professional life to coaching, mentoring and advising attorneys regarding leadership skills and their career development. As a practicing litigator with a large New York firm and Director of Legal Recruiting with a prominent international recruiting company, Elena had the benefit of meeting with and listening to the career ambitions and concerns of hundreds of lawyers. Over time, Elena identified a need in the legal marketplace for unbiased, trained, professional executive career coaching and mentoring.
With that in mind, Elena created LawScope Coaching to meet the career needs of lawyers at every stage of their development and to meet the programming needs of law firms dedicated to the highest level of professional development and training for their talent.
Ms. Kaspi received her B.A. from Princeton University where she graduated magna cum laude and she received her J.D. from The Georgetown University Law Center where she graduated with honors. She graduated with a Masters in Clinical Social Work from New York University and completed a Fellowship in Psychoanalysis through the New York University Psychoanalytic Institute. She is a Certified Career Management Coach through the International Coaching Federation and she is a member of the International Coaching Federation and the New York Chapter of the International Coaching Federation. She is also a trained and qualified administrator of the Myers-Briggs Personality Assessment.
She is an active member of the Committee on Career Advancement and Management of Association of the Bar of City of New York; the Committee for Women in the Law for the New York State Bar Association; the subcommittee on Lawyers in Transition for the New York State Bar Association; and the Law Practice Management Committee for the New York State Bar Association.
Ms. Kaspi also serves on the Honorary Advisory Board of Pace University Law School, New Directions Programs. Ms. Kaspi also serves as Co-Secretary and is a member of the Board of Directors of inMotion, LLC, a prominent, NY based, nonprofit organization that provides free legal advice and counseling to women and children in domestic crisis. Additionally Ms. Kaspi is a frequent writer, speaker, panelist and media expert on topics related to workplace dynamics, legal career issues, career success and professional development.
