Tony Gangemi is a Partner in Murtha Cullina’s Business & Finance Department and Chair of our Intellectual Property (IP) Practice Group. Tony's practice includes a wide array of clients – large and small academic institutions, established private businesses, and startups.
As a former licensed professional engineer, Tony recognizes the importance of technology. Just as important, his years of working as a consulting engineer give him a business perspective to legal issues, which helps him understand the business objectives of companies and investors that consider IP a core business driver. Tony is committed to developing cost effective solutions that are aligned with those business objectives.
Tony's practice includes counseling on many aspects of IP, including IP licensing, portfolio development and management, IP commercialization, and due diligence relating to client sales and acquisitions. He counsels clients on these aspects in all areas of IP including patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secrets matters.
