Andrew Vaden's practice focuses on litigation and on international trade and national security matters. Among other things, Mr. Vaden represents clients worldwide seeking national security approval for foreign investments before the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS).
From 2015 to 2016, Mr. Vaden was a law clerk for the Honorable Priscilla R. Owen of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Before attending Stanford Law School, he was a Foreign Service Officer for the U.S. Department of State from 2004 to 2012, and served in Macedonia, Haiti, and Washington, DC.
