Amanda B. Stubblefield

Professional Biography

Amanda B. Stubblefield joined McBrayer as an Associate in 2014 as a member of the litigation department. Ms. Stubblefield received her J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law in May of 2014 and was elected to the Order of the Coif. While attending the University of Kentucky College of Law Ms. Stubblefield received the following recognitions; First Year Legal Research and Writing - Best Appellate Brief Overall; Best Editorial Board Member for the Kentucky Journal of Equine, Agriculture, & Natural Resources Law and Saffer Scholarship. She graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in History from Eastern Kentucky University in 2011.

She is the author of the note, A Constitutional "Inquiry" into the Texas Racing Act: The Physical Presence Requirement for Wagering and the dormant Commerce Clause, 5 Ky. J. Eq. Ag. & Nat'l Res. L. 373 (2013). Ms. Stubblefield is also the co-author along with a local Lexington attorney of a book titled, A Comprehensive Guide to the Interstate Horseracing Act (forthcoming 2014, title subject to change).
