With more than 40 years as an intellectual property lawyer, Albert Kimball has been a cornerstone of Bracewell's IP offering, helping to mentor and develop many of the firm's current IP partners and associates.
He maintains an active practice counseling U.S. and global clients in the acquisition and enforcement of IP rights, principally patents and trademarks. Due to the firm's core focus on energy and technology, Albert has deep experience in geophysical data analysis and processing, as well as, exploration and production, having prepared and obtained a significant number of patents in the oil and gas industry and also computer systems and data processing. He also maintains an active docket of trademarks for companies in the U.S. and other countries.
Previously, Albert served as a patent examiner for the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
