Maintaining Order Amidst The Chaos: Strategies to Address Disruptive, Impaired, and Aging Physicians

Shareholders, Alexis Angell and John Synowickiwill address several challenges Medical Staffs face. First, we will address disruptive and impaired physicians, strategies for addressing these issues, important confidentiality considerations, the physician’s due process rights and the Hospital’s reporting responsibilities under certain circumstances. Second, we will address aging physicians and the tools to promote safe care as well as physicians facing criminal charges and entities’ options for addressing those smoothly and consistently.
