Amanda has been enthusiastic about healthcare for most of her life and began honing her experience in healthcare law in law school when she served as a law clerk at the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. Before joining Sheppard Mullin, Amanda was a healthcare regulatory and transactional attorney for an AmLaw 100 law firm with a nationally-recognized healthcare practice. Additionally, Amanda’s prior experience as a senior attorney at a healthcare consulting firm taught her to think in terms of best strategies not only for regulatory compliance, but also revenue optimization and patient satisfaction.
When Amanda counsels a client on regulatory requirements, she’s considering not only the legal issues at hand, but also the effects of the regulations on business operations and the client’s broader business model.
