Brent currently investigates cybersecurity related incidents and conducts digital forensics as part of the cybersecurity and incident response team. Prior to joining Ankura, Brent was a Special Agent with the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation’s cyber crimes unit where he assisted local, state, and federal agencies with digital forensics, legal process production, field investigations, and expert witness testimony.

Earlier in his career, Brent was a detective with the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office in Virginia where he ran their digital forensics lab and regularly testified in court, including as an expert witness.
