Starting Monday, Dec. 6, 2021, as per CDC Order, all air passengers traveling to the United States must have a negative viral COVID-19 test taken within one day of the flight’s departure to the U.S. This new rule applies to everyone over the age of two, regardless of citizenship or vaccination status. This does not apply to land border crossings.

You must show your negative result to the airline before you board your flight.

If you recently recovered from COVID-19, you may travel with documentation of recovery, including your positive test on a sample taken no more than 90 days before the flight’s departure along with a letter from a licensed health care provider or public health official stating you were cleared to travel.

Wearing a mask over your nose and mouth is required in indoor areas of public transportation (including airplanes) traveling into, within, or out of the United States and indoors in U.S. transportation hubs (including airports).
