Bruno Katz (Partner-San Diego, CA) and Jennifer Schmalz (Partner-New York, NY) will present “Navigating an Unprecedented Year at the NLRB: Developments & Practical Guidance,” a Wilson Elser Employment Summit Series webinar, on November 13, 2025. With the change in administration, this has been an extraordinary year in the sphere of federal labor law and changes at the National Labor Relations board (NLRB). The webinar will focus on a review of significant developments based the actions of the NLRB’s Acting General Counsel, including rescission of certain existing memorandum and the issuance of new guidance including deferral of unfair labor practice cases, surreptitious recording of collective bargaining, and settlement agreements. Bruno and Jennifer will address and analyze significant labor decisions. Finally, they will focus on the issue of jurisdiction over private-sector employers in light of the lawsuits filed by the NLRB and Amazon against the State of New York.
