Scott Y. Stuart brings over three decades of global experience in restructuring, insolvency, distressed investing, and legal technology. Appointed CEO of INSOL International in 2025, he leads the organization’s efforts to connect, support, and advance the international restructuring community.
Scott began his career as a bankruptcy lawyer, including service with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of the U.S. Trustee. He later co‑founded a legal tech start-up and served as CEO of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA), where he expanded global engagement and championed inclusion and innovation across the profession.
He is widely recognised for his collaborative leadership and commitment to mentorship, diversity, and professional development.
