Professional Biography

Sam Seaman is a partner in HunterMaclean's Corporate and Data Privacy and Technology practice groups, where he advises growth-stage and mid-sized businesses on mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, data privacy, technology transactions, and intellectual property. He works closely with clients in the health care and technology industries, and has negotiated transactions with every major health care insurance company, some of the largest hospital systems in the country, and multiple government agencies.

Sam has represented clients in multi-million-dollar acquisitions and exits across a range of industries, including health care, insurance, technology, and logistics. He has served as general counsel to both health care provider groups and technology vendors, and regularly advises shareholders, C-suites, and boards of directors on complex business decisions.

Sam earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2017, where he served as general editor of the Florida Journal of International Law. He also holds an M.B.A. from the University of Saint Mary and a B.A. in Global and International Studies from the University of Kansas.

He has been recognized in Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch and is licensed to practice in both Georgia and Florida.
