Rob Stutz is a Managing Director and Co-Founder of WR Valuation, bringing decades of experience in business valuation along with a firsthand perspective as an owner, investor, and board member. Known for his practical, operator-minded approach, Rob is a trusted advisor to business owners, executives, and investors navigating complex valuation and strategic decisions.
Rob began his career at Stutz Goelzer as a valuation analyst, completing hundreds of valuations over five years. He joined GBQ Partners in 2000 as Director of Valuation Services and advanced to Partner and later Managing Partner during his tenure. In 2012, he co-founded Western Reserve Valuation Services, which was acquired by Citizens Financial Group (NYSE: CFG) in 2017. In 2024, the leadership team re-acquired the business and launched WR Valuation.
At WR Valuation, Rob helps clients approach valuation not just as an analytical exercise, but as a strategic tool for navigating growth, transactions, and long-term planning.
