Peter Gregory advises clients on legal, regulatory, and legislative issues throughout the telecommunications sector. He also provides in-depth analysis and policy updates in articles on current regulatory and legislative updates affecting rural and independent communications service providers. As Legislative and Policy Counsel to the Rural Wireless Association, Peter supports nationwide advocacy for rural wireless carriers.
Prior to joining the firm, Peter worked as a Broadband Policy Fellow for Public Knowledge where he focused his practice on promoting technology and telecommunications law consistent with public interest policy goals. In that role, he represented the public interest before the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and on Capitol Hill on a wide range of issues, including handset unlocking, wireless transactions, robocall mitigation, broadband access and deployment, digital equity, spectrum innovation, privacy, Next Generation 911, and more. Prior to that, he held internships across the telecommunications industry as a Regulatory Intern at SES, a Legal and Regulatory Affairs Intern at the Competitive Carriers Association, a Legal Intern in the Wireline Competition Bureau of the FCC, and a Regulatory Intern at Mangata Networks. He received graduate Certificates from the Law and Technology Institue and the Law and Public Policy Institute at the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law.
