Professional Biography
Olivia Gang is Deputy Editor of the National Law Review's AI & the Law Newsletter, a National Law Review–Wickard Legal AI Pathways Fellow, and a J.D. candidate and Charles Widger Leadership Scholar at Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. The Charles Widger Leadership Scholarship is a three-year, full-tuition award presented to students who demonstrate exceptional leadership potential and a commitment to making an impact in law and business.
 
Gang has also been selected as a Scarpa Center for Entrepreneurship and Law Fellow for the 2026–2027 academic year. As a Fellow, she supports the Center’s mission of advancing the intersection of law, business, and entrepreneurship across the Villanova community through research, writing, programming, and student engagement initiatives. She also serves as Vice President of the Emerging Technology Legal Society and Media Coordinator for the Intellectual Property Society.
 
During the summer of 2026, Gang is serving as a Summer Associate at The Roberts Legal Firm and as a Legal AI Analyst at Wickard.AI. In these roles, she conducts legal research on emerging issues at the intersection of law and artificial intelligence, analyzes AI-related legislation and case law, contributes to legal education initiatives, and supports client-facing projects involving emerging technologies. 
 
Prior to law school, Gang worked at The Trade Desk as a Trading Analyst on the Client Services Team. In that role, she supported the rollout of the company’s redesigned user interface and updated bidding algorithm by leading tailored client education sessions that highlighted the platform’s key differentiators. She also worked closely with the legal team to ensure that clients’ consumer data usage complied with applicable privacy laws in highly regulated industries, advised clients on compliant data utilization strategies, and explained the functionality of the platform’s algorithms and AI capabilities.
 
During her undergraduate studies, Gang worked at Blackstone as a Digital Marketing Summer Analyst, where she wrote and edited content for the firm’s website and social media channels and collaborated with the legal team to ensure compliance with applicable regulations prior to publication. She also analyzed digital marketing performance data and presented strategic insights to senior leadership, including the firm’s Chief Operating Officer. She later served as a consultant on Blackstone’s Go-to-Market, Sales & Networks Team, where she built and managed the firm’s Chief Revenue Officer Community, consisting of more than 270 CROs, CCOs, and CMOs across Blackstone portfolio companies, and produced research-driven newsletters focused on emerging technologies and market trends.
 
Gang graduated magna cum laude from Villanova University School of Business in 2023 with a Bachelor of Business Administration, double-majoring in Business Analytics and Digital Marketing.
