Mark Hedley is Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of adeus, a London-based, digital-first Will writing and legacy planning platform. He leads the company's product, technology and operations.
Mr Hedley has more than 25 years of international business experience. He has lived and worked across four continents, and has held global leadership roles at Citibank, Deutsche Bank, Korn Ferry and Globalization Partners. Much of that career has been spent in complex, regulated sectors as financial services and workforce management moved from paper to self-service digital tools. He holds an MBA from Georgetown University.
At adeus, he applies that experience to legacy planning, a field still governed by a statute from 1837. His focus is on Wills and digital legacy planning tools that fit how people manage their affairs today: on the device of their choice, at their own pace, and easy to keep up to date as life changes. That work sits within the current law of England and Wales, while building the infrastructure needed for the reforms proposed by the Law Commission of England and Wales, including the legal recognition of electronic Wills.
Mr Hedley writes on electronic Wills, digital legacy planning and the reform of Wills law. Having lived outside the UK for much of his adult life, he has a particular interest in the complexities of cross-border careers and families.
