Lisa advises clients on environmental law issues such as compliance, permitting, enforcement, litigation, acquisitions, auditing, and rulemaking. She also helps clients obtain permit authorization through Texas’ contested case hearing process.
Lisa started her environmental law career as an enforcement attorney in the Litigation Division of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and served as lead counsel for some of the agency’s most complex and high-profile air quality and multimedia enforcement cases. Lisa also played a key role in drafting statewide consolidated environmental enforcement legislation, now codified in Chapter 7 of the Texas Water Code.
An active member of the Texas legal community, Lisa currently serves as Chair of the Texas Bar’s Environmental and Natural Resources Law Section.
