Professional Biography

Jessica Gracik concentrates her practice on litigation and enforcement matters with a focus on the financial services industry.

Strategic advocacy grounded in careful research

Before joining Katten, Jessica worked as a political field organizer for a state labor union, served as a teaching assistant in philosophy, and completed a legal internship with the Kalamazoo Public Defender's Office. These experiences strengthened her research and advocacy skills, which she now applies in her work with clients.

During law school, Jessica was a notes editor for the Michigan Journal of Law Reform, served as development chair for the Michigan Women Law Students Association, and competed on the Michigan Mock Trial Team. She also received the Journal of Law Reform's Award for Outstanding Scholarly Contribution for her student note: "Attempted Resisting Arrest: A Crime Unique to Michigan."
