Dave Orth is a Managing Partner and Co-Founder of WR Valuation, bringing nearly 30 years of experience in business valuation and financial advisory services. Known for his technical depth, responsiveness, and relationship-driven approach, Dave is a trusted advisor to executives, investors, and business owners navigating complex valuation matters.
Dave began his career at Empire Valuation Consultants before joining Ernst & Young, where he served as Managing Director and later as Head of the firm’s Valuation Technical Committee, helping shape valuation standards and best practices across the organization. He later served as Managing Director of Valuation Services at Citizens Financial Group (CFG), partnering closely with clients on complex financial and strategic decisions.
In 2024, Dave co-founded WR Valuation with the goal of building a firm that combines specialized expertise with the agility, accessibility, and a service mindset that clients expect today. He works closely with clients across all sectors and capabilities, including financial reporting, M&A transaction advisory, estate and exit planning, dispute resolution and expert testimony, and general succession planning engagements, delivering practical insights that support confident decision-making.
