Professional Biography

Bryan Hahm is a dedicated litigator and advisor to health care, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology companies, offering strategic counsel and innovative solutions to complex legal challenges.

With a focus on white-collar defense, government investigations, health care fraud matters, and business disputes, Bryan helps clients safeguard their operations, reputations, and bottom lines. When litigation is unavoidable, he assists in providing energetic defense in federal and state trial and appellate courts.

Bryan counsels on health care fraud and abuse regulations and laws, including the False Claims Act (FCA), the Anti-Kickback Statute, and the Stark Law. He also advises on data privacy in the age of artificial intelligence (AI); compliance and regulatory scaffolding for AI-driven Software-as-a-Service solutions, emerging technologies, and startups; biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry compliance; blockchain technologies; risk mitigation strategies for B2B and B2C product sales; and commercial real estate disputes. His ability to integrate technical and legal knowledge is helpful to clients facing complex compliance, commercial, and regulatory challenges.

Before joining Epstein Becker Green, Bryan honed his skills as a business and commercial litigator at a regional law firm, where he handled white-collar defense and health care fraud matters, including FDA medical device investigations. Earlier in his career, he served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Stephanie Ann Mitterhoff of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division. Bryan’s legal knowledge is enriched by his background as a genetics researcher at the Biomedicine Research Institute of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and his internships with biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. He also gained valuable experience at the Office of Counsel to the Inspector General at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, where he assisted with FCA self-disclosure settlement agreements, FCA alternative remedy applications, and other compliance matters.
