Asaf co-leads ERM’s Energy & Infrastructure and Banking & Finance Departments, focusing on oil & gas, renewable energy, and public tenders, where he advises on various commercial, corporate, finance, as well as M&A matters.
Asaf's expertise derives from extensive experience in London and Tel Aviv on oil & gas commercial and transactional matters across Europe, the U.S., Africa, and the Middle East, providing him with first-hand knowledge of the sector. He frequently advises on asset disposals and acquisitions, financing, unitisation, corporate acquisitions, joint operating agreements, farm-in agreements, concessions, production sharing contracts, drilling agreements, and joint bidding agreements.
Asaf’s renewable energy practice specialises in facilitating the establishment of joint ventures among financiers, sponsors, and developers of renewable energy projects. Asaf has advised some of Israel’s leading energy companies on their renewable ventures, including in the US, Europe and the UAE. He advises on all aspects of public tenders, both on the government side and sponsors’ side, and he regularly advises tender committees, particularly with respect to complex water and rail infrastructure projects.
Prior to joining Epstein Rosenblum Maoz (ERM), Asaf worked in the Projects/Energy group at the London offices of Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP.
