Allison McVey is a dedicated immigration attorney at Colombo & Hurd, specializing in employment-based petitions and a member of the New York Bar Association.
Before joining Colombo & Hurd, Ms. McVey worked in other law firms practicing EB-1 and E-B2 petitions, as well as O-1 nonimmigrant visas. She has also gained valuable experience in social security disability law.
Ms. McVey earned her Juris Doctor from Syracuse University’s College of Law, where she also graduated summa cum laude from the English program.
With a strong desire to advocate for the underdog, Ms. McVey found her path in immigration law. She strongly believes that immigrants play a vital role in the prosperity of the United States’ economy and culture.

Alongside her professional accomplishments, she is also an avid traveler with a passion for cultural exchange. She has volunteered at schools in Thailand and Italy, furthering her commitment to help the less fortunate people.
