Alexandra “Alex” Ramirez Randazzo

Alexandra “Alex” Ramirez Randazzo is a member of the Sedona Conference Working Group Series and a legal practitioner with more than 27 years of federal government experience in employment and information law. She is transitioning to Virginia state service as Legal Compliance and Policy Manager with the Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA), where she will provide senior legal and compliance guidance on HR, procurement, FOIA, privacy, security, and related policy matters. Previously, Alex served as Division Deputy for the Information, Data, and Technology Law Division at the Federal Aviation Administration, directing three legal teams and advising on privacy, records, information security, and emerging technologies, including generative AI. She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and a graduate of Syracuse College of Law and SUNY. She is deeply committed to advancing public service through law and technology.
